Kids Holiday Program
A fun filled day of Surfing, Games and Ocean Education! Our Holiday Programs run in between term 3 & 4, the week before Christmas and sometimes in April (Water temperature dependent) They are a full day of Surfing, Ocean education and heaps of extra beach based fun!
The focus of the Holiday program is to get each and every student up and riding the waves by the end of the day, progressing in confidence and skill each day.
Equipment:
Salt Spray Surf School provides all surfboards needed for these days, wetsuits are provided if need be.

January Kids Mornings:
Over January we run ‘Kids Mornings’ every Tuesday and Thursday. These are 2-hour beginner surf lessons for kids.
Extra surf skills learnt are:
Talk on dangers and risk management for the session.- Ocean awareness and water safety instruction on the beach
- Stretching and warming up
- The basics of surfing on the beach
- Paddling and sitting on your board
- Wave selection
- Paddling for a wave
- Popping to your feet
- Surf etiquette
